So what if we survive by fleeing to the stars?
So lets say we are lucky: we survive until we spread to the stars.Do you think we will have learned the lesson so as to not repeat the story, destroying each next host planet like Earth? Did we learn the lesson after so many wars & so many millions of deaths? Possibly, a few ex-humans in the future, after they have hopped about in a few thousand planets, eventually will achieve wisdom and evolve.Maybe thats why universe is so full of planets, to learn from experimenting & destroying a few in the process! Until our very distant progeny becomes a wise species...But that is a VERY distant hope! Do you see any short term hope of reversing the damage & evolving sooner rather than later, and instead of spreading out like a cancer that leaves corpses behind, we finally spread out as a balanced, positive, truly intelligent form of life? I think the planet is already fighting us, evolution attempts a correction by killing us before we kill life itself. What do YOU think?
